Here is where I will drop in the general stuff that I don’t have another category for.


Krav Maga
I have been taking Krav Maga for around 1.5 years now.  It is awesome. Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces.  Krav Maga is a simple, effective self defense system that emphasizes instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios.  I can say it is like nothing else I have done before.  The workouts are intense.  It puts you scenario and then you get to train on how to get out of it or how to defend yourself and others in the worse case situations.  My master  is Senior Master Daniel Longoria with Longoria's Black Belt Academy.  He doesn't just teach you put he makes it personal.  While you are training you can understand when and where this could happen.  The testing to level up is not just doing forms.  You drill hard for around an hour and then you have to perform the actions while tired, hot, and sweaty.  The reason is for that in real life you can't just do the moves and the person will be in the right spot for you to do this.  Krav Maga helps you to be able to react.  After my first time trying it out I was hooked.  Not only do you get a good workout, you also get confidence.
